My Story

I was born in Livonia, Michigan, before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 5. Throughout my life, I often found myself lost in whichever creative medium I was consuming — books, music, movies, podcasts, you name it. These all provided an escape from my hectic reality, and allowed me to fantasize about worlds where there were no limits.

I used my love for storytelling throughout my time as a student, often finding myself looking for a community in choir and speech and debate. Through my passion for writing a compelling narrative, I was able to form a connection with others’ feelings, and grew interested in human cognitive processes that help us form judgments and behaviors.

After entering college, I was drawn to clinical psychology and all it could teach about why we act the way we do. However, my time spent at a cognitive research lab shifted my interests towards UI/UX design and human-computer interaction, both which require a deep understanding of user behaviors and preferences.

Outside of the career sphere, I enjoy reading Japanese literature, building legos, going on sunset beach walks, and compiling Spotify playlists.
